My family & I went here last night for their lobster special weekend and it was PACKED. Given the sheer volume of the amount of walk ins and reservations that this staff had to handle, they handled it really well. Just from waiting 25 mins to get sat I overheard at least 3 customers get angry at the staff for ... something that wasn’t in their control (look around people…. The restaurant is filled- it’s Father’s Day weekend, it’s a Saturday and there’s a lobster special.) I just wanted to take the time to commend how kind/hardworking those girls were up front. We love Spumoni's. Its in our rotation of restaurants we go to on our Saturday date nights. We even had them cater our wedding. Food is always excellent. Love the Alfredo here, I opt to get penne instead fettuccine noodles, and I add well cooked broccoli... delicious. Such a great restaurant! I can't remember how many years ago my dad took me. I happened to be in the area with my daughter tonight and decided to stop. It all starts when you walk through the door. The staff that greeted and seated us were very friendly. The decor, and flowers throughout the restaurant really added to ... the ambiance. Lots of great Italian and seafood choices on the menu. Our waitress Malia was great! She promptly took our drink order, we both got Shirley Temples and brought us bread with soft butter. My youngest daughters eyes lit up when she saw they had steamers as an appetizer. The menu stated they came in fresh daily. We decided to get a couple of pounds. They were some of the best steamers that we have had. I grew up around the ocean and have been eating steamers for over 40 years and these were right up there with the best I have had. My daughter got a delicious plate of Fettuccine Alfredo. I had the Baked Seafood Platter. This had two jumbo stuffed shrimp. At least four large sea scallops, scrod and a stuffed quohog in the middle. The stuffing was a Ritz cracker base with lemon. All of the seafood was moist and cooked perfectly! As a cook, I was impressed. They give you melted butter and lemon wedges if you want to drizzle it over the plate. I did, it was delicious!
